The ultra-tough canvas Micarta handle has a contoured pommel and machined lanyard eyelet for a sure, comfortable grip with any sized task around the campsite. Our 60/40 blade grind moves additional weight over the cutting edged the ballistic clip point adds strength to the tip. Despite the extra heft, the Overland Chef 8" Chef's Knife is surprisingly responsive and lively when used on a cutting board. Staying sharp is key, so we used Nitro-B steel which will hold a terrific edge that is easy to restore.

This knife has been a real hit in our Julian store. We think it's in part due to all the camping and outdoor #VanLife activity around our mountain location, but also because of the great look and feel of the Overland Chef Knife. It really stands apart, and if you want something that's equally at home around the campsite, or backyard bbq, then the Overland is for you.
