What Benchmade says:
The mini variant of the quintessential waterman's folder, the versatile Mini Adira is a heavy-use EDC built for all tasks in wet environments. Featuring a 3.0” drop-point blade made of CPM-MagnaCut stainless steel, this pocket-ready fisherman’s folder uses an AXIS Lock mechanism with stainless springs for corrosion resistance, plus high-vis colored details and a useful orange lanyard for easy access. From prepping bait on a hook to slicing lines for a new rig, the Mini Adira has got your back on and off the water.

Drop Point
Drops off the spine to the tip. Tip height is typically below the center line on the blade.

CPM-Magnacut Super Stainless Steel (60-62 HRC)
A new stainless tool steel with a combination of toughness and edge retention with excellent corrosion resistance and strength.

Grivory
Glass-filled thermoplastic composite known for being extremely light and durable. Widely used for automotive, industrial, and aerospace applications.

Quinn Knives' take:
Anyone that's talked to me in-store knows that I love knives built with a mission in mind, and the Mini Adira is one of those knives. The whole line-up of Benchmade's new "Water" series is awesome, with attention to detail for those that live and work along the water's edge. We have a lot of Navy customers here in San Diego, and this is definitely going to be high on the 'recommended' list for our sailors. However, even if you aren't aquatically-orientated, it is still a great knife for standard hard-use EDC needs. One of these needs to make it into our personal rotation...
