Quinn Knives' take:
This is a damn good-lookin' knife! One of those ones we hold in our hands for a while debating on whether or not we should keep it.... but alas, it's meant for the wider world! As the name suggests, this is a working field knife that has a strong range to it. The S45VN steel means the corrosion resistance is up, so might be a great option if you're often on the water.

About S45VN Steel:

S45VN steel is a high-performance stainless steel developed by Crucible Industries, known for its excellent balance of hardness, toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. It features a composition that includes 1.48% carbon, 16.0% chromium, 3.0% vanadium, 2.0% molybdenum, and 0.5% niobium, enhancing its properties over its predecessor, S35VN. This makes S45VN ideal for premium knives and cutting tools, offering long-lasting sharpness, resistance to wear and corrosion, and sufficient toughness to withstand impact without chipping. Despite its high hardness, it is relatively easier to sharpen compared to other high-end steels, making it a favorite among knife enthusiasts and professionals.
